I'm 13 and I play the guitar for about 5 months. I know how to make curves, leaves, palm mutes, and hammer-ons. I can play some chords: C, A minor, E minor, D and G. (Sp?) I know how to take notes or bar, they are called, but I'm not very good. I'm not very advanced, but everyone thinks I'm good for my age and the time I played. I can play the intro to Smoke on the Water Purple Haze. I know how to play the intro and poems to apologize to all of a Down. According to information I given, it seems that I am good enough? I really want to get into the music business. How can I get better and practice because I am much of it? And what a good website where you can learn new techniques without having to buy lessons? I can not say how good you are, without see you play, but from what I wrote, I would say are pretty good with what they can do the guitar with 5 months of play. It's really great that you want to enter the music business, I have the same goal! It takes hard work to get well, but it looks like he wants, and not much people. There are two main things to get a good, ie the actual practice (which means knowing how to work "perfectly") then the amount of time you practice.
