How do you play d and g power chords on a guitar?
I don’t how to do a G4 chord and a D power chord.
I’ve looked everywhere but nothing is really helpful so i think i need an actual person to help me out instead of just charts.(I’m a beginner and i don’t have a teacher yet)

Hello there,
Power chords are generally 2 note chords and usually played on the lower 2 strings. The first note is the root note of the chord. The second note will be on the next string, 2 frets up. You just move this arrangement around on the neck to get the particular power chord you want.
Take the G power chord. G is the 3rd fret on the low E string. The second note will be the 5th fret on the next string (on the A string).
D power chord could be played at the 10th fret of the low E string and the 12th fret of the A string. Al alternate way to play a D power chord would be using the A and D strings. 5th fret on the A string and 7th fret on the D string.
