How could I choose a guitar to buy in a store?

I was thinking of Silvertone SD10pk as a starter guitar though it really looks big for me.I really like the black finish and the review is good though it really is a bit big for me. In the store there are also other guitar, like Vantage (I think also by Samick) and other. How could I choose a good one in the store, I’m absolute beginner, so i still don’t know about tones. I’m buying an acoustic, I’m a girl.

well first of all your best shot would be guitar center. go to there website and find a store close to you, they have them all over the place.

second, why dont you go to the store and try them both, and see which one you like better. you dont know how to play, just strum it and see which one rings out more. also pay close attention to detail on which you think was built to be more durable.

third, even though the review is good i do reccomend that you concider getting a better, well-known brand of guitars, such as yamaha, or epiphone. epiphone guitars are cheap, but excellent quality, and built to last. (just a suggestion if your not completely sure the guitar you are thinking of getting is durable)
