Question rhythm section, bass, drums and guitar?
I had a pretty simple question about the rhythm section with a rock band. Y that the section consists of bass and guitar. The question is difficult to explain that you have a drum beat, how do you know what is the rhyme scheme for low or to play guitar with the drum beat? or if you have a bass riff / model, how do you know what rhythm guitar riff or drum patterns to play with him? I does not require key style, or notes to play, I ask you, as if the fault is 1 and 3 of rhythm and loop 2 and 4, how do you paste under the then rhythm guitar? Basically, it seems that all the songs that the other rocks, so I've heard of triplet shuffle, so that has to do with it? I know the chords, notes, etc. 4.4, 4.3, etc. I try to read books along to music I can and even some composition / organization books but still not hits on this topic, I know it's probably a simple answer, it is a difficult issue to explain, simple
I'll try to give Best answers simple as possible. About bass and drums … In general, the lower the hype. So whatever rhythmic drum pattern plays the pattern Rhythm plays bass in general. That is what is commonly called the slot …. Pure and simple. However, it becomes a bit more complicated than that. Sometimes the bass will follow the rhythm guitar. This is much rarer than after the kick, but it happens. Usually when this happens, it happens in a kind of riff. Let me give you an excellent example. Take the song "I do not want to be" by Gavin DeGraw. In verse, the bass plays the guitar. During the chorus, the Low plays instantly. So to get what you want, the main idea behind the "rock" groove is the attitude and feel. Except not "feel" the right to change what he does. On guitar and drums ….. The guitar must be one of the most difficult playing in a group. ANY rhythm guitarist who plays well and has managed to respect the way in my book more than any other player to lead. Therefore: The lead player, mostly whole notes. He did not need to appreciate or even make a lot of musical sense. It need not be in rhythm. It may take a lot of music "freedoms" when he plays. That's because the rhythm section carries the song structure …… NO guitarist. However, rhythm guitarist (if done properly) should find the musical "space" to accommodate the low betwwen and battery. Thus, the rhythmic structure, cleaning and the structure of the agreement are all critical to effective rhythm player. However, the rhythm guitarist can play a more rhythmic and is usually low. Let me give you another example: "something to believe in" Maroon 5. Listen fragmentation rhythm guitar away. But if you listen carefully, is very accurate …. NOT do anything. Notice how the song sets the propulsive rhythm, while bass stabs that distance in just some notes with the kick. One reason for low plays so little to loud and rhythmic "space" on rhythm guitar. Yes, there is a method madness. But still it is felt. If part of the guitarist did not "feel" the law, he would have to change or what looks like a bag of shit hot. About Time 1, 2, 3 and 4 … The biggest blow to low Time 1. If the drummer is laying down a kickin 'groove and the rhythm player is smoking, low can get away with playing a note brief note on a beat. Believe me, it works. Although usually play more notes anyway. For the guitarist, instantly the most important (in general) is a 2 fantastic (or optimistic). To do this, as a simple exercise: they play the drums a drumbeat normal 4.4. Now they have the bass plays a brief note on the first beat of each measure. Now is the rhythm guitar playing the chord in time 2 to exit sling and stop just before the bass plays the next note. This is the most basic grooves of the road, but displays with high efficiency of its operation, the importance of individual rates to the extent, and the space created for the instruments of "fit." FINAL ANSWER: It's really whatever you feel. There is no "right" way or "wrong" to play a groove. There is a fair or unfair to "feel" a groove. Some exercises are very specific and require listening to each slot note (like Sweet Home Alabama …. ever wonder why nobody's good?) Others (like Honky Tonk Women) are very loose and really just need a good "Mind State party" to its achievement. So if something does "Feel" good, keep playing with it until it does. It's really long and short him. And the experience you get, the easier it gets. Hope that helps, Jon
