Learn drums and eclectic guitar at the same time?
Do you think it's a bad idea? Any advice on how? My reasoning is quite irrelevant … But the guitar to play drums and I play with friends for talent shows, etc. I think buy an electric guitar (along the amplifier and other things) and use of the school of drums at the practice since the drums are easier to get a good start.
First, let me discourage the idea that "the drums are easier to obtain a head! "I played drums and taught for many years. Except for a couple of very talented students, the battery is increasingly difficult for the student think it will. Of course, this is usually the case with other instruments, but often with the drums. You will play (theoretically) 4 different instruments at once! It is an instrument for each member. Only think beyond the comprehension of many students. Be more "easy" depends more on their own ideas about a tool that the specific instrument. If you really like and want to learn, is "easier." Secondly, I think your idea to learn both at once is very good, if you really want to learn. You will have more than one understanding of the interplay between the instruments and you'll be surprised how much common ground between the different instruments. Started with courses guitar, then took the battery out of necessity, when a band really need a drummer. I ended up liking more and more the battery has a skill behind the kit. But I also learned piano, guitar and drums, and probably more pleasant in the final. I started in the low and later also enjoy playing bass guitar now. Who knows where to end?
