How long does it usually take to learn to play acoustic guitar online?
I use ultimate guitar.com, indeed.
I played less than two years and I learned it all online. I can play a bit and how they play in the determination to go very fast. After few months ago, I had the basic chords and exchange. After a year I played more or less what I wanted in my sound, whether it was not too difficult (n Andy McKee and Tommy Emmanuel at this stage). Now I know a little music theory, you can write better, I started to sing with songs that I play, I can learn easy songs intermediaries in minutes, and I learned things very difficult. You never cease to learn when you start playing an instrument, but I would say you should be able to play many songs very easy to use ropes in about 3-6 months, depending on the amount you play (you can certainly learn a song in a much shorter period of time if you work at it, but I would not say that I "knew" how to play guitar at the time).
