How do you teach guitar / where to start?!?
I have an acoustic guitar that was just collecting dust, and I really want to try and learn to play. Unfortunately, my family is going through extreme financial problems and left me the opportunity to take lessons. But I want to learn to play and I'll see if that is what is needed. Now, my question to people who have learned or are during learning (although everyone learns new things every day), what measures have you taken to learn to play guitar with success? Began with ladders, or directly into the agreements and learning simple songs using only memerizing tabs and chords this way? Suggestions books, websites and online videos would be useful too! Really appreciate it if you could help or give advice. Thank you:) Also, it would be helpful if you let me that they must master the basic chords first.
