Is there anywhere I can find software to help me learn to play guitar? ?
I got an electric guitar for christmas and I really want to learn to play. I have a book, but am looking for more resources to learn how to play. I’m also on a tight budget, so the cheaper the better. Free would be great.

Youtube is probably the best place for free lessons.
Just make sure the video uploader knows what he’s doing.
Start with basic things like how to hold your guitar and pick, how to finger the notes, how to do hammerons and pull offs, bends, etc.
You will find thousands of guitar tutorials on youtube.
