Hello I memorized guitar made afew week iv (5or6) line found in a book I have with it, I learn these practiceing first and hold it until I have no problem with them and move them quickly and must learn to scale and contribute to the theory of music plz!
It depends on what type of guitar you want to play. If you want to play rhythm guitar, then learn the chords is the best idea. If you want to play the guitar, then the scale is very useful to learn. music theory is not as important that it will probably take until you go. My advice is to stay with the ropes until you can change them without problems and move then the scales and chords together again, in the development of hand strength that allows you to play more complicated things.
