Tube Guitar Amp – Fender Blues Jr. or others?

Looking to buy a new guitar amp (Les Paul Studio). I'm looking Real Tone of a blues and a nice knowledgeble friend told me that you should absolutely go with a tube amp for it. I find most are quite expensive. I 'm looking to spend $ Maximum of 500 (but would prefer to spend even less.) I saw the Fender Blues Jr, which is at the top of my reach, but it gets rave reviews everywhere I look. Some questions: Is this a good amp? As I said, I'm really looking for the tone blues, but also some rocks. Is this amplifier offers any configuration of the distortion at all? Can you recommend any other tube amp in my price range is worth the detour? Thank you!

I guess we're talking about a new Fender? Yes, a tube amp is about the only way Always take this warm blues tone you are looking for. That said, it's a personal preference, the highest possible amplifier. I suggest search on Ebay for an amplifier to use, try to find a harmony antique silver (done by Sears before 1977), Ampeg, Fender all ages (both Field the face of money, or better yet the black face). Older people can be very costly defenses, but worth the money. Up Now the effects …. distortion, reverb, delay …. which will be very difficult to find a tube amp over with these effects, saying they are not there …. but once you've played in a tube amp again, you learn to handle the volume controls and tone in both the amp and guitar to get almost any sound I wanted.
