How long does it take to learn guitar (decent)?

I have experience with music, I know how to play the piano. I play the violin with a power right now. I suggest you go acoustic? and I want to teach, this book should I buy / online courses? What do you suggest for a beginner?

Here is a breakdown of the stages of learning the guitar and the approximate time it would take to get there. – Interpretation of basic chords – This is usually the first point of reference for most new players to get there: The ability to scratch and switching between the basic guitar chords. At this point, the agreements do not necessarily have saved and are not able to play many songs, but it makes them fret and strum. This level can be reached within a week. – Playing songs easily – you've mastered the guitar chords and practiced enough that you have memorized most of them are capable of tearing and switch between them without too complicated, and without looking at the height when you do. This means you can play the songs! This level can be reached in two to three weeks of daily practice, although many may be higher. – Reproduction Bar agreements and Energy – We are going well and progress is at a level where most self-taught guitarist never go. fingerings are much more difficult to open chords and learning of these additional takes practice and a new set of force wear hand. It is possible bar to play chords in two months, faster for some who do a lot. – Fingerpicking – Capacity individual chains start and play simple riffs (short solos in individual chains) is a new skill to play the hand has to learn. This can be done two to three months if you start learning and playing guitar tablature easy. – Guitar – A guitar is the guy or girl who has the public on its attractive. Playing in one and using techniques such as stupidity, vibrato and palm muting is a new set of rules and I would give him three or four months. This could be away depending what kind of music we talk – solo acoustic may take less time, but play rock or metal is only likely to take longer. – The improviser – A guitarist who can improvise riffs and solos in place (and in the middle of a song), have moved the field of amateur quality to be a professional or semi-professionals. Depending on the amount of talent they have and what is the background music, it can take anything from six months to one year. Note that these times are given as a very broad estimate and is aimed at people with little musical experience. If it takes more than a week to learn basic chords, do not be angry not. These times are not static and we must learn and develop at a pace that is natural and comfortable for you! http://www.pluckandplayguitar.com/how-long-to-learn-guitar.html This same site has lessons for beginners and cool guess they know nothing or almost nothing …
