"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" is a song that contains elements that make it worthy of special attention. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" was recorded September 6, 1968. The guitar solo in the song has the sound many people associate with the Beatles guitarist George Harrison, but it was actually played by Eric Clapton on rhythm guitar George and Ringo Starr on drums. Paul McCartney played the piano and guitar session folded under the door later. Eric Clapton has been invited by George to play on the track and had scared at first because an outsider to play in a Beatles song, but the presence of a condition of musician Eric Clapton actually helped dispel tensions between the Beatles members. The only problem was that Clapton did not receive credit on the album cover because of his contract with another record company.

The song was recorded several times, mostly by the player at the end of Canadian blues, Jeff Healy and a solo version of Jake Shimabukuro ukulele.
